Attend all meetings with Creative group, presenting retouching work, addressing notes, comments and current feedback.Receive direction from Art Director/Creative Director on creative execution and project prioritization.Collaboration with Merchandise, Photography, Designers, e-Commerce and Art Direction teams.Competency with layer comps, linked smart objects and follow established non-destructive editing workflows.Advanced masking, shadow creation, complex layering, etc.Color theory, color correction, RGB/CMYK color space and conversions.Assist in photoshoot and negotiate usage terms and rates for photographer’s, crew and models.Check and control quality and accuracy of technical specifications, digital output and naming conventions.Managing and being accountable for the photo and retouching workloads and deadlines.Managing files and assigning work to photographers and retouchers and any outside vendor or freelancers.Identify and recommend production workflow process improvements as needed.Establish retouching brand standards, including digital, campaign, editorial retouching standards and establishing a nomenclature for re-touching terms to create better communication. Responsible for maintaining the highest level of consistency and quality for all creative retouching assignments coming from the retouching department.Ensuring correct color accuracy and consistency, sizing, and file standards. Responsible for overseeing the review of all images before final creative is released, ensuring retouch products match to the physical piece.Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the image archive and digital asset organization in accordance with established processes.Manage retouching and catalog and campaign workflows, including, but not limited to, review of catalog images from photo with number of images, corrects shots, correct, angle and file names.This role will support our marketing goals across all channels. This role will work cross-departmentally to manage post-production photography and the retouching process, while maintaining an organized workflow and file management. The Studio Manager is responsible for providing tactical support in coordinating all activities across the digital production team. ![]()
